Tickhill in South Yorkshire is located south of Doncaster and is one of a couple of pretty small towns in the area. As a resident, I spend a lot of time walking around the village and enjoying the atmosphere. This scene is of the sun rising on an August morning behind St. Mary’s Church, which is famous for its four-hourly chimes. The weeping willow provided a beautiful frame to the scene and the yellow flowers growing by the roadside provide a contrasting feature in the foreground.
